If I were to get a Reverse Mortgage, can I ever owe more money than the house is actually worth?

No, never. You will never owe more to the lender than your home is worth. This is because the initial Loan-to-Value Ratio percentage (LVR) is so low to begin with. As an example, if you are 65 yrs old & getting a Reverse Mortgage, your maximum loan amount LVR will be only 25%. You would have to live to be 140 yrs old to get to 100% LVR.
