UNO customers should feel even more confident about using our bank-level secure platform. We constantly review our system requirements to keep up with data-security technology – which is always evolving. We currently have an industry-standard TLS certificate with 2048-bit encryption for data security and a 256-bit Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) block cipher.
We rigorously ensure our systems are secure and work meticulously to anticipate any weaknesses. Hey, we even pay a guy to try to hack into our system once a year and tell us if we need to up the ante. So far, we haven’t had any fails.
Subject to policy terms and conditions, we are fully insured up to $1 million against data breaches from online transactions using our platform.
Even though the chances of this happening are extremely rare – your data is encrypted and stored with one of the strongest block ciphers available – if it were to happen, you can rest assured you’re protected when you use our platform.
You’ve heard of AirBnB, right? Well, UNO’s $1 million Cyber Insurance is not dissimilar to AirBnB’s Host Protection Insurance, which offers those who rent out their houses and apartments protection against third party property damage and bodily injury claims, up to $1 million.
